I think I've seen a few people use these. Only thing I'd ensure is that it's directing air into the vanes and not the face of the rotor itself. Hard to do with a scoop, but I've seen a number of people say good things about this setup. Even Larry from Ammo NYC uses these on his porsche. A wee different but you get my point :P

It can't hurt to add them.
If you're looking for marginal cooling upgrades to the brakes then do it.

But if you are looking at reducing temps to a greater degree then you need to direct air into the centre of the rotor, which exits out the vanes. This can only be done effectively with a hose routing air to a modified backing plate similar to the setup I have.

Calabogie Novice Day #2!!

Happy to announce that 1MoreLap and Calabogie Motorsports Park are putting on another trackday for novices on Sunday, August 9th!

The cost is $60 for a half-hour session and sessions start at 10am up to 5pm (off for lunch from 12-1pm)

There is also a Show & Shine going on, so the paddock will be buzzing with activity that day!

As per Greg:
"if you guys sign up early enough, you could get a run group all to yourselves. limited to 20 cars per group. I think you'll enjoy it better with people you know on the track at the same time"

Question becomes who else wants to go and at what time?

You know the little feet you put on furniture, like chairs? It's basically a nail with a giant nylon head.

Helped someone move last weekend. Coincidence?

That sucks. It looks like it is too close to the sidewall to be repaired, especially if you are going to the track.
