I got another random coolant leak on top of the engine. This time it was the PCV connector. I replaced it with a $20 Amazon replacement part and it seems to be holding!

I have one of these waiting to go on, as I've been scared more than once by mysterious coolant showing up there. I have an Amazon one and one from Salasko Racing...can't tell the difference between them. I bet it'll be just what the doctor ordered

The tune and performance are concerned. At 12 psi, the car is insane. I can't imagine what it's like at 14 psi but since I don't have a clutch to hold it, it will be awhile before I find out.

Check it out.

Wow the response on that sounds crazy! It lights up immediately! To have the power that low and also have such a high peak number, that's incredible.

Yeah, it's honestly nuts. When I test drove the day after the dyno I just had the impression that it was only making power after like 5000 rpm. Turns out, that was crazy land. Even before that is nuts.

I drove it at autocross. It was a lot of fun and made me happy that I got the direct injection fuel pump fixed and that tapping wasn't rod knock.

Also, some SoloStorm data from that run.

The BRZeeee went in for its annual service and roadworthiness test. Service done but the road test postponed due to the windscreen washer check valve blocked solid!! Only replaced it about 2 years ago... its back with garage this coming Friday..

In the showroom saw this pairing... 1933 Hillman rubbing shoulders with a 2017 WRX..

Technically yesterday. Probably the best day so far at autocross with the rebuilt engine setup. We ran a tournament format after the regular points event. I run the car in Xtreme Street so my time wasn't good enough to carry me forward but my best time was effectively the fourth best raw time for the day. We have some great drivers at these events so I'm pretty satisfied with that result. I still have work to do though. Anyway, enjoy.

I thought your twin needed an engine?

Been a while. Got the Ohlins rebuilt and revalved. Upgrade to 7k 8k springs. Need to get this back to the track and not drag the spitter. While everything was apart the caliper clear coat was peeling so upgraded the calipers.
