Help! Transmission mount to transmission bolt size

A few months ago, I added the Perrin trans spacer to stiffen up shifting. It did until it didn’t. After 3 days at the Ridge Motorsports Park, shifts were feeling sloppy again.

Got under the car tonight and see that 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the transmission to the mount are GONE! Are the other bolts/nuts were tight.

The bolts I need have a 14mm socket head.

Anyone know the length, diameter and thread pitch? All the dealer’s parts counters are closed on Sunday.

Thanks!

10x1.25 going by the JIS standard for wrench head size (14mm) to diameter and corresponding pitch

I recommend getting them from a dealer when you can, so you can get the proper strength/grade for the application.

Be sure to paint mark critical bolts like the trans mounts and check them every couple drives after you remove and reinstall them for a month, just to be sure they're not backing out

One of the four holes was bunged up.

Hit it with a tap. All’s good again.

The hardware store bolts I bought don’t have the pilot lead in section that the OEMs have. Significantly harder to start than the one OEM bolt I had left.

I’m going to get them at the dealer tomorrow. 10x the cost, but much easier to install on my back.

Good suggestion to check the torque after a few miles on the road. I torqued them originally to spec, but they still backed out. I could always blue locktite them.

For future searchers, Subaru part #010110250 with MSRP of $0.60.

I bought them here: https://parts.subaru.com/p/Subaru__B...010110250.html.

Paid only $0.37 each because Lithia Subaru of Oregon City listed them for that and Carr Subaru of Beaverton matched their price.

I bought spares.

These are now on my list of preflight checks before track days.

I’m amazed at what just “comes loose” and falls off on these cars. Never had this happen on the various Miatas I tracked for 20 years.
