I like buying gifts for friends. Usually I do pretty well.

It’s got a lot of tasteful mods I personally wouldn’t have spent the money on. The original owner, who I got ahold of, put a ton of STI parts on it. It’s too low and I hate the wheels. Body and interior are pretty good. Oh, and it’s too loud.

What kind of wheels does it have, and will you be getting rid of them at some point haha.

Damn… Bride is adding more tax into the MF Ghost trend. If this keeps up, it’ll take me forever to get 86 again.

They are staggered Avid1’s 18”. Yes I plan to pull the TPS sensors and dump them.

If they are not damaged, I’ll take them off your hands, even pay shipping.

Put MCA Pro sport coilovers in my Sti and a Whiteline anti bump steer kit. Can`t get an alignment done till next year so I did it myself with my home made camber tool and some string. Front -2.4 camber zero toe. Rear -1.9 camber zero toe( didn`t adjust it). If I was to pay and it came back driving this good with these settings on paper I would not query the alignment.
I will still get it done properly next year and see how far i`m out but as I said it drives good.

Same with my BRZ. Low, loud, and rattle box. Fixed now, and for Christmas I was nice and got it a set of new tail lights.

I use a string box and as far as I can tell have better precision than any of the shops with the fancy laser stuff. It just takes me a lot longer. Having a perfectly level spot is the trick... But you can get quite good enough for sure.

For some reason my string box was always off a bit and I spent nearly a hundred hours trying to figure it out this year.

The way I do it it doesn't matter. As long as the strings are parallel. I paid drilled and pinned through pipes I hang at each end of the car so exactly parallel. https://robrobinette.com/DIYAlignmentCalculator.htm

Yep, I've used that as well to check my work. All the numbers I was getting said it should be good, but it still felt off. It was indeed a bit off when I brought it to a professional finally.

My wife and I are going to visit our oldest in Austin next week. This will be the second time ever my wife and I will be on planes together. The first time, the beginning of this year, my wife barfed on me.

This time she got some prescription patches. I'm hoping for flights where I don't walk out of the plane with barf all over my clothes.
