I just did the tetanus shot for the first time in 10 years like 2 months ago.

Wasn't too bad.

Compared to the last time I got it, the time when I ended up in the ER due to severing my flexor tendon in my index finger with the lid of a tin can of beans

Washed both cars yesterday and realized I don't get the same joy driving the BRZ as I do the 86. I think it comes down to the suspension and exhaust header. The UEL header sound like a perpetual exhaust leak, and even with a "sporty" alignment the BRZ feels more floaty. The ride is fine, but it's not the same fun to throw onto an on ramp. That said the added ground clearance is excellent, even though the 86 isn't all that low (~1 in). This week I want to throw the factory header back on and see how it is.

Do you have the same wheels and tires on both?

No, but I drove with the BRZ's wheel/tire set up on the 86 for about a month and it was fine. On Wednesday I'll be putting winter tires on both cars (215/45/17 on the factory 17x7), so the point will be moot.

After that exciting incident my mom got me one of those fancy hand-operated ones that simply reverse the lid edges, rather than cutting them:

Works really well and I haven't had a sharp edge since (like 10 years now).

Technically it's every 10 years but I doubt people remember that after finishing grade school, where proof of getting it and others is usually required.

Since I work around various metals, some of which are rusty, I really should have gotten it much earlier.

Those are cool, but they still cut the can, just leaves a smoother edge based on where they cut them.

Food cans like this have their tops attached using a sealant so it can't really be reversed. I used to work for a company who had a subsidiary that was the largest supplier of this. It was an alchemy thing because each one had to be specially made based on the contents in the can to not leech or affect the taste of the contents.
