Even with all that turned off your talking about two cars that both make 200hp but one weights 450 lbs. more, it's not exactly rocket science which one will get down the road faster.

Is it even possible to turn off stability / traction control in the new VWs? I know that you can't on the Golf R...

We're both thinking not, but he does have acces to the VAGcomm software and is going to go digging for a way. He's getting a tune anyway so it'll come with that if nothing else, but once he's flashed there really is no reason to go "racing".

Got my first windshield ding!

Went on a drive with some friends. Buddy's STi in front of me wearing some sticky tires kicked up a rock and made a little spider in the middle of the windshield.
