Finally ran the two days at my local AutoX. First day was rough. Was having issues finding the course and making a ton of mental mistakes. Still managed a 5th place with a time of 77. On the following day I really tried focusing on learning the course and braking later. Also adjusted my psi to 30 psi because I tried 25 the previous day and that made the firehawks feel more heavy and mushy. On the 30 psi the tires felt more predictable and controllable. In the end I clocked a 66.9 only a few milliseconds behind the other competition with better tires. Seriously wanna step up to sticker tires and switch out my coilovers for something with more adjustment.

Switching the tein street basis for some Bc Br coilovers. Teins are good for what they cost. But I grew out of them and need more adjustment. Can’t wait to throw these on.

So I finally got around to removing the Subaru and Brz badges off my car. I used a heat gun, dental floss and some compound. Super easy to do and zero dollars spent. Never liked the chrome badges nor the placement so I知 very satisfied with the cleaner look.

So this happened. Purchased super cheap at only 69k miles. Cars a little rough but the low miles made it worth it. The Crx we値l be put on the back burner unfortunately. I知 so excited to be back in a Miata. We値l post progress pics here on this build or maybe make a separate build thread for it. Stay tuned!!!

Yes I知. I love them, for a daily/autocross and occasional track day car they can keep up with better tires. But a few of my friends run 200 tread wear tires and I just can稚 beat them I値l keep up but won稚 beat them. Of your trying to be the fastest get something else but if you want a daily/track day tire I strongly recommend them.

Got a fresh set of federals. Heard these are super noisy and I can confirm that they’re lol. Didn’t bother me as much tho. Can’t wait to hit the track on these.
