So which one of you stacked your brz at Wednesday night drifts?

This is the second one now. Can you please stop taking your nice cars out there and crashing them?!

As long as this is being done in a safe and controlled environment, this experience should have provided the driver invaluable experience.

Don't see anything wrong with this.

There's a reason 99% or the cars there are held together with zip ties. Crashing is part of drifting. It just boggles my mind that someone would take a new car there.

Agreed, as long as the insurance group is not called upon to pay for this, then we all suffer.

However, I'd value that experience at about $15k up to MSRP.

Drift practice days without ARMCO/k-rails are the most invaluable experience. That, and snowy winters... YMMV.

Definitely good practice, but they recently added concrete rails in the middle of the skid pad to make it safer. It's claimed at least 6 cars now I the last month though.

hmmm fat concave rims in front (look like XXRs) and stock wheels in back. Hope they at least were running matching tire compounds. But what do I know I am not Drift Crown-Prince-in-Waiting.

Yeah I was watching vids and was like damn. How is that safer now? Seems way too easy to crunch a car on

Their reasoning is that they can release the next cars sooner to get more runs
