I'm not to sure you will be able to keep warranty on the stock shocks since you're basically "overcharging" them, causing them to possibly break faster (certainly on our crappy roads). A toyota dealer could easily tell you the answer though
They are indeed the Pro-kit. The stock shocks will wear faster but not that much faster because they don't lower that much. It will be the same as if driving with 4 people in the car every day.

I think in the case you just want springs and you're happy with the fixed lowering you could combine the springs with some Koni shocks or something
The only problem with a fixed lowering (in my opinion) is that there's going to be a day when you look at the car and say to yourself: "if it was only 1 cm lower it would have been perfect..."

Try the OEM Subaru crashbolts first to give you some camber in the front, it will improve cornering.

The 'real McCoy' TRD suspension is a hefty well over 2000€ adjustable racing damper set ( and you need to add a 400€ for the required pillowballs as they don't go on rubber mounts).

There's a 'sportivo' series which is less expensive ...

But ... in Germany you can get at the dealer the GT86 lowered by Bilstein B14 shocks (1065€). Those are sold as 'sporty' dampers for all year round driving. They drop the car 40/40 (front/rear). Eibachs -spring only- are also in the catalogue and drop 25/20 (189€).
OEM's buy alot of stuff of other companies and just rebrand it. My old car was an Opel Astra and you could buy the Irmscher lowering springs, they were exactly the same as the Eibach Sportlines, only a different name and 150€ more expensive for the Irmschers. The taillights from Irmscher were the Hella Icegrey, exactly the same but just a different pricetag.

I don't know where you live but I'm lowered 6cm's from stock and I don't hit anything. And yes, at the meet I was at stock height but that was to clear all the festival-parkings. On normal roads I don't have any problems. I even clear most speedhumps @ 40km/u.

Screw them springs, just like elBarto said, one day you'll look at the car and say it needed to be a little higher or lower...
I'm just going to order myself a nice set of KW V1's and it'll be a done deal; no rust, KW warranty & quality and i can adjust lowering to my likings/surroundings

Hope i'm not making a mistake cause 1000€ is not nothing lol :p

yeah the popping axles when lowered gives me enough réason to stay with the trd springs if you sustain warranty with them :p

True, but i'm not going to be slamming it!
Function > form
It's going to be lowered around 4 cm's which - i think - is not too bad
If the axles already break at that point i'd be pretty surprised!

Hmmmm, i'm gonna have to watch out for that then! I had indeed read some stuff about the weak axles, but mostly on extremely lowered cars...
Oh well, i'll see, i can only hope they won't snap

Anyone here with an resonated secondary catback with the EC-approved papers?
I want to take a copy of it and modify it for my Milltek.

So my Milltek has arrived this friday, it's the Primary resonated Cat-back.
It's the same as a Secondary Cat-back (resonated) but with the addition of an overpipe and a Secondary Catalyst Bypass Pipe.
The fun part is that Milltek put a plaque with a serialnumber on the muffler and on the Secondary Catalyst Bypass Pipe , Also fun is that the Cat-delete pipe looks like a pipe with a sportcat, I only have the remove the "not for road-use" sign.
So I want to modify the EC approved papers with my serialnumbers and add a section that states there is a 200 cell EC approved sport-cat with it and refer to the serialnumber on the cat-delete pipe.
Should work for the inspection (if they even notice that it's an different exhaust).

I know but I'm still waiting for my OpenFlashHeader to arrive. So I can fit all my exhaust parts at once.
