A bodyshop will hammer out and bondo the dent. The bumper will get replaced. They will paint about halfway down the quarter to blend the paint. Probably a $2-3k dollar job all in. The white pearl paint is expensive on these cars. PDR isn't going to take that out with the crease right in the corner and that is really deep.

Look, I would post your vin details and ask the question 'who owned this car?' blame the previous owner, that way you won't feel bad for doing a @Humfrz.

When you back into things - hit them straight on - your car will suffer less damage.

See the attached picture of how I did it - see, no scratches.

.
Heat. Try pouring near boiling water over it slowly. These plastic bumper covers tend to "bounce back" to their original shape that way. It wouldn't hurt to give it a little urging from inside while the water is being poured on it. It worked pretty well for me when someone clipped my Crosstrek in a parking lot.

Thanks for the tip.

I sort of half assed tried that. I bought one of those suction things and poured hot water over it, but I couldn't get ahold of it. I should just take the bumper off and heat it up with boiling water and push it back into shape - but, due to the COVID19 situation, I've caught the "COVID lazy" syndrome.

So, my plan is to call a PDR guy and see if he can fix it - next week.

Yeah my AC is still leaking on the floor if I run the AC for more than a few minutes at a time. #coronalazy

Well, that's a shame -

Bubba suggests (as a #coronalazy fix) is to fill a large pan with sponges and slide it in the footwell -
