Next track event is VIR, end of February. One day on Grand Course, one day Full Course.

Thought about adding ducting for brake cooling but I probably won't track this car anymore after this event, so not worth the trouble. I did, however, remove the dust shields, purchased Ti pad shims and may look into some air deflectors to mount on leading edge of the control arms.

Got two piece rotors for the front this time (significantly lighter and [I think] better with heat dissipation), another set of pads and will be running Castrol SRF fluid. Should be in good shape!

I think two piece rotors don't dissipate heat any better, but they have less thermal expansion stress with a floating mount so you can run them at a higher temperature before they warp or crack.

Talking

Was a great weekend, even if Sunday (Full Course) was quite soggy and wet. Brakes did much better, but they weren't taxed quite as much by Full since it was wet. Will be a while before I can post full session videos, but here's a nice little (sound) clip!
