@Colin86 It doesn't compare to the C8 in a straight line but the BRZ is way more fun around a corner. I also don't have to worry about wrecking it as much since parts are so much cheaper lol. @CSG Mike , Maybe you can clue me in as to what an LTR is?

Low Temperature Radiator; called such as intercooler coolant is low temp relative to the higher temp of the engine coolant radiator.

So just a secondary unit inline with the main unit? Kind of what I was thinking by tying into the unused heater core. It can provide my winter heat(that I don't need) lol

Ideally, you'll want to direct the airflow with a shroud, and then dump the heat out the wheel well through the fender liner. See M3/Supra/RS3/911/Ferrari/etc., as they all execute it the same way. |

This discussion has peaked my interest, and it could turn a mistake into a asset for me.
I purchased a 25 row oil cooler that's too tall to fit under the bumper support and still have ground clearance when scrubbing. So I got an appropriate 10 row (like should've done all along) but now I have this cooler just laying around. Would running this in line with the heat exchanger be possible? It has 10an sized fittings I just wonder if it would be restrictive to the pumps flow rate. If it is restrictive it seems like it would negate any possible benefits or make it worse. Has anyone done this on the E-Force yet? |

As long as you keep the lines and cooler outlets the same size to minimize back pressure, the difference should be negligible. I don't have a spot to experiment right now, but if you try it, please report back!

I am having idle issues and working with Zach to sort them out. I think it has to do with my stock injectors for PI. I really don't know what that means specifically but PI is used during idle before it switches over to DI when driving is what Zach told me. Thanks. Codes I have been getting recently are: P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1 P1170 Port injector fuel performance does not clear DTC Last edited by GPhilly; 09-09-2022 at 01:40 PM. Reason: More info to add |

So would you want to T the inlet and oultlet's of the exchanger into the cooler, or have the cooler in line pre or post exchanger?

@GPhilly, so you need a picture of the direct injector or port injector? Port injectors are the ones you use to add more fielding for your setup. DI systems stays stock.
@Swolzee nah, you want to put the heater core inline with the other intercooler. If you teed it off, you would be getting hot engine coolant into your supercharger. So, go from the outlet from the supercharger to the heater core, from the heater core to the filling reservoir. The stock lines that went to the heater core originally would just be routed together.

Errr mu gurd!
![]() ![]() Ok, so do these style of pins push out the back of the module? A gentle tug pulled it completely out. |

Looks like you could probably grab some de-pinning tools and re-crimp the connection. Won't be fun with those short wires though.

It looks like it will have to be pushed through the back. If that's the case I'll have to strip the loom back far enough on all the wire leads to pull the white piece away from the pins. I'm sure it won't be a tedious pain in the ass at all lol. I'm assuming this module is a relay so therefore this ground is grounding the relay itself so there wouldn't be a way to ground it downstream somewhere else?
