Subaru Maple Oil Changes? Feedback?

Hello fellow enthusiasts.

I am thinking of taking my car to the Maple Subaru Dealer for Oil changes.

I'm wondering if anyone here takes there FRS or BRZ to this particular dealership for oil changes or maintenance?

On the google reviews it's really mixed. Some are super happy while others are saying to stay away lol.

Would appreciate someones feedback before I set up a appointment ^^

Never been there, but maple oil sounds pretty damn thick lol.
An oil change is an oil change, and a dealership is just another way to ensure warranty, so if a mistake is made, they take the blame. I don't know how some places screw up oil changes, but a delaership should be a safe place.

I hate maple Subaru.. every time I've been there it's been a complete disaster. I will only go there for parts because it's convenient. But the service manager is a total asshole and totally disrespected me in front of my own family members and the staff as if to attack me because I called them out on a blatant mistake they made that ended up costing me $400+

Go there at your own risk. But honestly an oil change is an oil change. It's. Or a specialized procedure a "Subaru Technician" needs to do - I do my own in my garage for example, takes 30mins tops.

If you get a Fumoto oil drain valve and can fit an oil pan under your car, it takes less than 10 minutes. I have to jack my car up, but that Fumoto valve is awesome, no messy hands from playing with the bolt or dropping it in the oil, no cross threading, just a one time install. I live in a salty area and it has held up fine for the past 2 years.

I agree with @brzzy. The service manager M is quite condescending. I'm not sure if actually knows that he's doing it. Anyhow, I did go back for an opinion last year and I dealt with him. That time wasn't too bad but I had 2 runs prior that did not go so well.

Though, I've got to say. I buy all my parts from Subaru of Maple. The parts staff as well as the rest of the service staff is pretty good and helpful.
