Custom Lightweight Axle-Back

So My buddy Freston at Emerald Performance and I made this nice light weight axle-back exhaust. It is 3" mandrel aluminum piping with 3"-4" tips. The stock muffler/axle-back assembly weighed in at 26 1/2lbs. The one I made came in at 8lbs.

Here are some pics and vids;

I'd say to get this mass produced if there were nicer looking tips! I like how equal the exhaust path is split down the middle, not a lot of axle-back exhausts are designed this way.

Great job.

Thanks. I'm going to put a slash (angle) cut on the tips and polish them. The problem is there really aren't any aluminum exhaust tips. They're pretty much all steel and wouldn't weld to the pipes. I think after I pretty the tips up some it will be much nicer.

I really did not want a dual outlet exhaust that had one clean pipe and one carbon'd pipe...I wanted to be sure it was equal. Both the sound and exhaust pressure from both sides is the same.

I'm also surprised that it's not louder.....but I'm very happy about that. Very deep & mellow "blub blub blub" sound.
