Welcome to the forums! I learned from the guys at IAG that if you're going to add coolant to the overflow tank, do it when the system is hot. If you do it when cold, you're going to be pushing some out the hose and onto the ground when the system gets hot again.

If only the car manufacturers would make a book or something that tells you how to do things with your car. They could maybe put it in someplace like the glovebox and people could read it and do things properly.
