Maybe but groups will probably get togther on way or the other... safer outside.

I mean technically it is safer but the difference would be people in groups of 5-15 vs 15-150+ in an area. But you know, our freedom is being taken away because we have to wear masks. So you cant expect people to listen regardless -___-

Well, "our freedom" was taken away when we were required (in most places) to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle and we got past that. I reckon we should be able to get past wearing a mask for a few months -

Actually we haven't gotten past that. Most states with helmet laws are constantly fighting the anti-helmet, live free, crash, then die folks.

I personally have never ridden without a helmet, even if just moving a motorcycle around a parking lot, but there's a large contingent of riders that feel differently.

Same with seat belts. I've never not worn one, even before it was the law.

As the Bell helmet ads used to say "If you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet". I'll let you figure out what that says about someone that doesn't want to wear one.

Now that said, I'm a little conflicted on whether it should be mandated by law.

Big difference though, you aren't any more likely to kill someone else if you don't wear a helmet. Or a seatbelt for that matter.

I'm in the same boat. You should have the right not to, but if you don't you're a fool.

Not arguing that, I'm right there with you. Just responding to @humfrz saying we adjusted to having motorcycle helmet laws.

Same here about the law. On one hand I figure a rider without a helmet could see and hear better (to be aware of me and stay the hell out of my way). On the other hand people wearing helmets would be less likely to be clogging up the ICU units, in case I have to go there for a heart attack. Yes, it's all about ME.

I got the picture of Dadhawk, wanting to be, back in the day -

True, if you're over 18. I reckon they feel you should know better if you're over 18.
