stock struts?

+45 will never have a deep lip. you get that by going lower offset. much lower.

245/40 front 265/35 rear or just do square setup all around

Im planning on getting the konig rennforms 18x9+38. I'm lowered 1" on eibach prokit.
Will that fit ok? And what is the meatiest setup I could do? Looking to buy them by boxing day so hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!

You can probably fit a 245-255. I wouldn’t go wider. Why not 17 if you’re going 9” wide?

This is beautiful. Thinking of running the exact same wheel on my Hot Lava. Do you have stock suspension? Will 17x9+35 with those tires rub on stock suspension?

@arthur93 how does that car feel with that wheel and tire setup? I've read some people say, especially those that are still NA, say that too much grip can take away the fun from the car and can "over-tire" that chassis. Thoughts?

Thanks man. Definitely love the RPF1. A very common wheel but I have only seen the bronze in 17x9 +35 on a blue brz and never on a white one on these forums.

I am currently running Bilstein B16 Coilovers. These reuse the stock front hats so also have Verus Engineering Camber plates for the front and Verus Engineering rear LCA. Front is dropped 30mm and rear 35mm. Have -1.7 camber up front and -1.5 in the rear.

There is a thread dedicated to the RPF1 in a 17x9 +35. I recently posted in it so it should still be on the first page. I don't believe you will rub on stock suspension but you will definitely have poke.

It grips and grips and grips. Personally that is what I am after. I intend on tracking the car quite a bit and currently don't have enough money to have a dedicated track wheel/tyre combo. But personally, that is what I am after. I love grip. For n/a 245 is definitely not needed. Can easily get my tyres in a 225 and still have heaps more grip. But I much prefer the look of 17x9 RPF1 to the 17x8 as mine have the concave look. Also I intend on going turbo before these tyres are gone.

I do quite a few skidpans as well. I have kept my stock wheels with the prius tyres for that. I will however be using my new set up at a wet skidpan next week. My mate has the same 245 tyre but on 18" and he drifts like nuts so definitely still doable. That is next saturday. Happy to report the results.

RPF1s in SBC... 18x9.5 +38 paired with 265/35/18 Pirelli P Zero Rosso (got an amazing deal on them).

Feels amazing, and not noticeably heavier than stock. I absolutely love the grip, but it still needs rear LCAs and an alignment.
