Funny story, I bought this brand new OFT V2 to tune my car. Plug it in and find out my car already has an Ecutek tune on it. Literally brand new with box, cable, and instructions. Not married (obviously)

How did you find out you had an ecutek tune? I may be in a similar issue.

Have a buddy or a shop with an Ecutek dongle check for you. Or just try map switching with the cruise control.

Yeah it doesn't change tunes as far as i know, nothing changes cept the cruise malfunction light comes on due to my cel.

Map switching is not enabled by default and is not an accurate tell that would prove or disprove whether or not a car has ECUtek

As you'd suggested, they'll need to find someone with an ecutek dongle and ODB2 cable.
