BOV/BPV on GReddy T518Z - Safe to vent to atmosphere?

Hi guys. I'll be installing the GReddy T518Z kit soon and have been researching a lot on turbo systems. I know that the kit does not come with a BOV and would like to run one because:
a. I don't like the sound of compressor surge; and
b. To extend the life of the turbo (although I read a lot of feedback from people not running one and turbo still works fine).

I bought the GReddy BOV FV Adapter Kit which is specifically designed to work with the turbo kit but recirculates back into the air intake pipe. With the location of the BOV relative to the MAF sensor, is it safe to vent to atmosphere and not run rich? From what I read, the drawback of venting to atmosphere is running rich because the air in the system has already been metered by the MAF. But to my understanding, this is when the MAF sensor is located before the turbo. With the location of the MAF sensor in the T518Z being right before the throttle body, is the air already metered and therefore not safe to vent to atmosphere?

it s ok, you ll have to work one some zone if fueling goes too off, maybe with hybrid speed density but it s much more manageable with the maf after in that position

Get ECUtek Racerom and run hybrid speed density if you want BOV sounds

I will have the car tuned using ECUTEK. I am not a tuner but as far as I know, the car will still be running on MAF, not speed density. I don't really need the BOV sound so I may just stick with recirculating since the BOV kit was designed that way. Just curious, with the location of the MAF and the BPV, is the air to be recirculated already metered by the MAF sensor?
