Bilstein B14 Coilover vs KW V1 vs KW V3

I use my FR-S for daily drive, occasionally take it to the canyon roads, and planning to go to track in the future.

I was wondering which one would you guys recommend for my usage?

Stock is best compared to that list. Out of the list, KW V3 has the best growth potential but track potential is still limited.

I am running stock right now, but looking forward to upgrade to 18' rims in future and 245 or 255 all around

I would think if you plan to track very often then the KW V3's would be the best choice.

If you mainly want to lower the car, but want a good balanced coilover set and don't need the adjustability, then the KW V1's fit the bill.

I think all the KW versions use the same spring rates, which are a little softer than most other kits (I liked this aspect).

Another cheaper alternative to the KW V1's are the ST coilovers, made by KW and identical to the V1's except for the shock body material (only an issue if they salt the roads where you live). The ST's are what I got and I really like them. They fit my needs perfectly and the price was a lot less than the KW V1's.

Gotcha. Okay well in that case....

All of the coilovers you listed are solid choices and will improve handling. They'll all still ride fairly well. KW V1 and Bilstein B14 are non-adjustable for damping, so they're pretty straightforward to set-up and start driving. But a little limited on how much you can improve handling. KW V3 have 2 different adjustments for damping which is awesome because it makes them flexible but also can be a pain in the ass if you're new to that. Still a little limited in their potential...I'd recommend our RCE T2 instead if you intend to hit the track. It's a revalved KW V3 with firmer spring rates and our own valving, built by KW to our specs and with their awesome warranty.

Either way....I'd recommend hitting the track or an auto-x first before jumping into modifying. Get a feel for the car at speed, what you like, what you want to improve. The biggest factors are driving experience and tire compound. You could get something now, but it might be limiting OR you may not learn as much as a driver in the process.
