OEM 14mm crash bolt torque spec?

Hi all!
I installed my SPC lower eccentric bolt today and moved the OEM lower bolt to the top strut hole.

I torqued the SPC bolt to 97 ft/lb per instruction. My understanding is that the OEM lower bolt is the OEM crash bolt for the top hole, as such, I torqued it do 114 ft/lb per this shop manual:

Was my understanding correct? Or does the top 14mm bolt now have to be torqued down more since it's in a larger diameter hole?

Thanks! Can't wait to get the car on track

I say meet them in the middle.
It's torqued at lest.
Should be fine.

Meet them in the middle? According to the shop manual, both upper and lower bolts should be torqued to 114

I would say that they are both good-n-tight the way you tightened them down. Any more and I reckon the bolt/nut is going to come off in your hand/socket.

Torque spec is for bolt stretch and clamping force, the diameter of the hole doesn't matter.

What you will want to do is loosen both bolts with the weight of the car on the wheels, that'll settle the car to max negative camber. If you need to dial it back at all, do that with the lobed bolts in the bottom holes (also with the weight of the car on the wheels).
