Which one is more uncomfortable, @Ultramaroon bear hug or climbing into the metal cage that is @Sapphireho's Exige's cabin?

I would say climbing into the Lotus AFTER Ultra's hug!

Not trying to go indepth of stock talk, but noticed Ford stock went up quickly after announcement of F-150 Lightening. I was expecting to go up, but didn't expect this much.

Sounds like way more people are into getting it because it expands the market segment. So people who'd never have gotten a truck before for various reasons can get it because those reasons won't apply.

Yeah, I'll be interesting to see how Lightening gonna work out plus which other brand gonna go into it. I know GM did. How about Ram? Toyota? Nissan?

More interesting to see if Jeep make electric Jeep. Off-Road Electric Wrangler or Gladiator? That would be cool to see.

I really dig the Lightening and the price is right in there with the current truck market. It just doesn't have quite enough range for me and what I need a truck for.

Do agree. It doesn't have the range most truck owners... but there are handful of retired ppl who own the truck who drive here and there that doesn't require the range (like my step-dad) will def interested in this truck.

Once we get more infrastructure for EV's it will for sure change the game. The tracks I regularly go to are 150-175 miles away. So if I could hit a quick charge for 20-30 minutes I could probably make it work.

The Silverado EV will have a longer range than the Lightning (GM is saying 400 miles) as it is built on the same platform as the Hummer but lighter. Looks like it won't be until 2024 though. The GM platform also has newer battery tech.

That platform would also work for a Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade. That's something I'd be very interested in with that range.

Your range will be lower when towing. We just don't know how much lower yet.

Yeah, last yr (?) they changed the logo to more electric style, they were pushing more of EV. I'm assuming more EV will be coming out from GM more than Ford for couple years... til Ford catch up.
