67k miles, will bring car in for valve spring recall, what else to fix down there?

I got confirmation from Subaru customer service that my car's VIN falls under the valve spring recall coming up. My VIN was recognized on some VIN recall check sites so I just emailed Subaru manually.

The thing is that I'm going to be selling the car early next year, maybe by February. My dad is gifting me a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring as he will be getting a Cayenne. While I'll be really sad leaving the BRZ but I'm not turning down a free car lol.

I currently have a timing cover seepage that I have ignored the last few months as its just seeping and not causing any issues. Now that the valve spring recall will require them to remove and reseal the timing cover, I'm going to wait to get that done all together. But while they're down there, what else can be done to save time?

Because if not much else can be maintenanced while down there, I'll just get the recall done first then list the car for sale. But if there's quite a bit of stuff to be done, I'll list the car as is and leave that option open for the next owner.

It would be a good time to replace the spark plugs, if you haven't already done so.

PS - get ready for stuff like "damn spoilt brat from California, getten a brand new car from his daddy - SMH"

There may be an issue selling a car that's under a recall that hasn't been performed, I don't know. You will at least need to make 'full disclosure' that it hasn't been done. The timing on this may not work for you to get it done anyway, they haven't set dates for the program to start so if you're getting rid of it in January or February that may be too early.

If you do get it done at least change the spark plugs. That leak should get solved by default. You may also choose to get the serpentine belt and tensioner changed.

What are you saying? Clearly he is getting a faster better car than the 86.
The new accords are well built with lots of new tech as standard. He's actually trading up.
I rather his dad gotten a Civic but the accord is still a great upgrade.
It just means I still have one Civic to sell.

I suggest you up your inventory of civics by one or two, in case that one sells, cause when you're out of inventory, you get grumpy -

Oh, I've been there. I could always tell - when mrs humfrz would bring me a large glass of what she called "Tang" and told me to drink it down all at once (so it won't set up in the glass).

I can't find anything online about a valve-spring recall. I have a 2014 ST MFG date 01/14. Left voicemail at local dealer but haven't heard back yet.
