Maybe haha, this car honestly makes a lot of noise for no reason. Can I have no torque dip without the extra noise

You need the cold start delete for it to be managed. Get forced induction if you want to run stock exhaust with a bump in power

Get at least an OFT it will get rid of loud startup and sound much smoother

Was going to get it Dyno Tuned, but OFT sounds more convenient can just flash back to stock when I want. Im in Australia and I have to get OFT from America. The thing that gets to me is the rasp in the Low Rev Range in traffic sounds like my car is broken. Besides the sound car has more pick up the butt dyno is telling me.

You may have an exhaust leak. Notice any uncatalyzed exhaust smell? Especially when stopped and the HVAC set to outside air? I went through this.

Also - get a tune, OFT or other. You can eliminate the cold start racket.

I hope its not an exhaust leak its hard to tell over the induction noise from that dumb sound generator that I'm going to rip out soon. I didn't do the install the shop across my work did it.

I really don't like loud 4 cylinders. I have a catless UEL header, stock everything else. I really don't think it's loud at all. It's hardly louder than stock, certainly no rasp. I'm inclined to believe you have an exhaust leak as well. There are some comparisons on Youtube of stock vs only catless header. I would listen to those first to see if its like those at all. Hard to tell volume of exhaust from a Youtube video but it might help.

Get a full exhaust. Cat resonator and mufflers.

Mine is great!

The stock exhaust doesn't mate well with a UEL. Get something quality like Perrin or Miltek resonated systems. No rasp.

If it doesn't sound good with stock FP still you can try the JDL ultraquiet or HKS dual res
