I haven't played a slot machine in over a year!

And I am not here as much anymore either.

I have met a new forum.
It isn't you it is me.

being a snarky 7 year old, i asked for a car. my parents agreed "because after all, it is your golden birthday."

i got a gold hot wheels car. they laughed when i tried to tell them it was the wrong size.

I was tooling along, over the speed limit, totally hung over, in my company Ford gran torino, with the windows down when coming right at me, at 9 O clock was a Grumman Ag Cat (crop dusting airplane) about 3 feet off the ground and 50' away. He pulled up just before he hit me!

He sprayed parathion (a very toxic insecticide) all over my windshield. I had to stop and clean it off, then kept going on down the road in hopes I could get it to dissipate from inside my car before I got a stomach ache (organophosphate poisoning).

OK, now the sun was beating down on the flooded rice fields, which made it quite hot and humid, (windows down - no AC), I'm hung over, hungry and on the verge of stomach cramps when I pulled into the research station.

I SURVIVED!

(although that experience may partially explain why I am the way I am - )

Crazy story. Any idea why he was flying so low?

Oh, crop dusters always fly low, in order to avoid drift of the pesticides onto non target areas. Down in Imperial Valley, California, I've seen cotton plants tangled in the wheels of crop duster planes.

I could never figure out which came first, pilots to fly open cockpit airplanes spraying highly toxic insecticides ..... OR ...... pilots flying that low because of spraying highly toxic insecticides ......

That is just an indication your tires are wearing, don't be concerned. When they need replaced there will be a built in audio indication.

You always see crop dusters in California. I haven't seen a single one in Idaho.

They are always fun to watch. Some of those guys are pretty good making u-turns with a wing tip just feet off the ground. Seems in the last 20 years you see more of this kind of planes than the old biplanes.
