Aluminum foil. Smallest pin you have, poke a hole. Then place foil on a smooth surface (glass, stone counter, etc) and gently rub down the area with the hole with the back of a fingernail. The hole is now smaller, and will work better if I remember right.

Oh, yeah! I had forgotten about that.

Well, it happened. Birds all went silent. Chickens went inside their coop for a half hour. Now they're back out. It's still eclipsing a little but we're on the other side.

We are supposed to have about 79% coverage around 2:30 but it is pretty cloudy here so I don't think we will see anything.
