Hardtop vert would be awesome. Not expecting it though. The power hardtop Miata only gained like 80lbs or so.. What's most interesting to me though is that the sketch looks like it still has back seats!

Was just about to point that out too. That old rendering included in the article has no backseat but the official sketch does. Should prove to be a much more practical car than the MX-5 and S2000.

PRHT 86 would be pretty awesome. If Mazda can do it, I don't see why Toyota couldn't.
I would still buy the coupe though

Two seater? There should be some back seat now that my passengers head wont be hitting the rear window.

Do you really believe that or do you just throw out stuff without thiniking? Do you think the "convertible crowd" only drives convertibles? What happens when they sell their Miata and buy a FR-S? Do they become Dr. Jekyl or is it Mr. Hyde? It must really be a transformation if they sell their Miata and buy a SUV!

^38th? I digress. Just told my wife about the convertible. She said, ''when you get the 86 you should get the convertible''. I asked why, she said, ''because I want the convertible''. I said, ''well then get your own, because we are not getting a convertible''. Side note: keeping the back seats, if that proves to be true, was a smart move.
