3 Weeks Before Washing the FR-S?
I bought my frs yesterday with the. Xzylon protectant on the exterior and interior. My dealer said to wait 3 weeks to a month before washing it because it might screw up the xzylon... Is this necessarily true? The only reason I ask is because, well, it's already dirty lol. Oh yeah, and it's a Raven, so it kinda needs it.

It might need time to cure, but 3 weeks sounds a little bit silly.

Xzilon is basically an long lasting paint sealant. The general rule for sealant cure time is 24 hours. In extreme cases, you might need to wait 48, but I haven't seen any that NEED to wait that long.
I'd wait a week and then start washing.

3 weeks does seem excessive. I don't want to take a chance and screw anything up, but it is definitely going to need a wash by Thursday... I have a big ? above my head on what to do..

Being a quality sealant, I think you could get away with simply pressure washing, or hosing the car down lightly. Drying it off with microfiber towels would be recommended as well. No soaps and no scrubbing makes for a safe wash and a clear conscience. :p
