Spare wheel securing threaded rod

Imho it might be rather common for those that track their cars to remove all stuff from trunk for weight savings. But what looks bad for me, is that imho with frequent bolting/unbolting spare wheel for that one may strip thread in boot. Thought that it should be easy "fixable" if instead of stock bolt with plastic head one will use threaded stud/rod, with nut of head configuration similar to that bolt for easy securing with hand. After all, it's much easier to replace such threaded rod if one will strip thread, then rethread hole in boot and find larger mounting bolt, no?
Hence questions - if someone knows what type of thread is used in hole of spare wheel mount on twins, and if someone may advise reusable from which other cars that may use rod of same thread type & nut instead of bolt, or some usable for that part combo from some fasteners shop ..

Well I'm not high but I think...because that was a lot of words put together in a configuration that I am not used to...
what OP wants is a way to make removing the spare tire not destroy whatever holds it in there with frequent use.

I think this is juste looking to fix something that isn't broke. When removing that spare just be careful on threading it back together.
It's not under any stress that would strip anything and just making sure it catches the threads is probably all that is warranted here.

I'm not as high any more,
But if you are worrying damaging the threads on the spare wheel, you are way over tightening it. It really should be finger tight then snugged, or 1/4 turn after.

Besides the spare does sit in its own little hole.

Worse case zip ties and duck tape.
