The first one is plenty fast with E85,Header and Tune. Much rather drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow....

Yes I know this. My car is set up the same way. Still doesn't make a 6 second 0-60 time gloat worthy for a sports car

To me 0-60 is just one aspect and one I really don't care about.

Was waiting for this to be said.
If they did a more expensive/upgraded version of the Twins there is no saying it would have a MT either though.
Whether you like the BMW parts or not the fact remains that Toyota already makes the car that people want the Twins to be. They just want everything the Supra has but at a bargain basement price.
Toyota already has a car of their own that meets most of the wish list. Why don't all the people that want a more luxurious, more power more powerful, semi exotic Toyota just buy one of those?

Problem solved.

So you wouldn't consider these sports cars?

Triumph TR6: approximately 8.2 seconds

MGB: just over 11 seconds

Aston Martin DB5: 8.1 seconds

Now if you're referring to this, I would agree with you!

NHRA Top Fuel Dragster – 0 – 60 in 0.8 seconds

No one asked for a rebadged BMW with an automatic. This has nothing to do with price. I’m not interested in the Zupra at any price point

It should go without saying that we are talking about vehicles from within the last 10 years.lol Technology matches on and whatnot.

The price point is in reference to the Twins. You simply are never going to see the Super Twin that people expect and want at the price point it is currently at It just is not feasible. You start pushing the $40K mark and both Toyota and Subaru are getting into territory where they already have cars. This would remove the Twins from their target segment and it would be the end of it.
People that want more power, luxury, "quality", etc from the Twins are shopping the wrong segment and instead of whining they need to look elsewhere. The Supra already fills that niche whether you personally like/want it or not.
