FR-S under overpass or through tunnel

Has anyone revved their FR-S hard under an overpass or through a tunnel?

Today, I Inadvertently got on the throttle in 1st under an overpass and was quite surprised to hear a lot better sounding exhaust note than what I am used to. Generally with the stock exhaust, I would definitely describe it as lawnmower like and insufficiently loud, but, holy crap it sounded good to my ears. More than likely, it is kinda like thinking your singing is good when you are in the shower, but, just wish I had a sound clip. A quick Google search found this:

Anyone else have similar experiences or sound clips?

Not showering with my car. Lol. Different thought referring to the reverberation in a shower making things sound better.

not through a tunnel, but badass none the less! I tried to get a video on my phone last time through a tunnel, but it was just a crackly mess from the phone mic.

To use the same word, he was the one who blew it. Saw the curve, started turning, panicked, stood on the brakes in the turn.

There was a nice hard shoulder on the right which he didn't use at all. What I think he should have done is: use the shoulder for hard braking in a straight or almost straight line, then let go of the brakes and turn back onto the road.

Now, isn't it easy to be an armchair driver!

Every tunnel and overpass is time to make tunes

You're just hearing reflections off the walls, your car, delayed and multiplied .

FR-S under overpass or through tunnel

Tunnels? >_> don't embarrass yourself, I heard myself once & I was like........../facepalm even Corolla sounds better.

Now if you drives an old Mercedes with W220 & certain exhaust then it would be a completely different story...

Given the choice of a cliff or a wall, I'll take the wall every time. Hopefully, I'll never have to make that choice.

On my way home most nights I drive under an overpass at Hwy#7 west of Bathurst (if anyone knows it). I almost always drop a gear and open the throttle if my window is down. Its especially rewarding for me when there is another sporty enthusiast car nearby.
My exhaust is not quiet!
