The back is pretty bad. The front really isn't all that bad, and frankly, I can forgive the back end since I like the idea of the car. Doubt we'll ever get it here, even with a bigger engine. It would be a tough sell, but I might buy one. I am a huge fan of the original Beat and have even considered importing one.

I don't like the material in that rear diffuser/bumper.
If that black plastic is the same as the stuff that populates the front air dam/fake brake vents of the Civic coupe, then it has roughly the same feeling as the plastic on takeout sushi trays.

It's ok to make a cheap car - just don't make it so damn obvious...

Jesus, I didn't think there was any way it could look worse...and then a shot from the rear. Blow that up and start again Honda. You can do better.

S2K fanbois will say this isn't underpowered because its a Honda, but 200 hp in the FRS is downright pathetic according to them, lol

And yes, I know this car isn't an S2K replacement...

Not really. Most people on s2ki were tearing this thing apart just like you all are here. They did the same with the new Miata too.

Just give it time...more will come to defend it, lol

And I noticed that they were saying that the s660 would "dust" the frs in a straight line...man, they just can't help but get their digs in

Who is they? I haven't seen anyone say this. Sounds like you've got some unwarranted S2K hate, buddy. :P

Its the other way around.

Forum member Clio said it, and there was another FRS dig from another member in that same thread:

Just a few more offical images

Honestly if they did make that higher output version it could really be the next S2000 or "S1000"
