Good luck, and I really hope they cover you if it turns out not to be your fault, especially this early in the car's life.
I really appreciate it. I hope I get my BR-Z up and running again. I'm about to call the dealership to find out.

New whiteout FR-S owner as of last night! Super amped. Car is currently getting Llumar tint and will have lo-jack installed sooner thereafter.

New white BRZ LTD owner in Orange County, CA.

No I did not pay a mark-up. As a matter of fact, I wasn't even on a waiting list of any sort and I didn't order it. I called around to different dealers and this one had exactly what I was looking for, for no mark-up! I guess I got pretty lucky :P.

FNG from the NW side of metro-Atlanta, Georgia. Currently DD'ing an '02 Saturn SL1 with 211k miles and also have an '84 Nissan 720 4x4 as a weekend project tool/toy.

I'm giving serious consideration to replacing the Saturn with something fun... something RWD... something with at least a little bit of oomph... and definitely sharp handling. Anybody know if a suitable car exists?

Good to hear there might be such a car out there!

I like the option of the automatic climate control and keyless start on the BRZ, but I'm not sure I want to push the price up for it, so the FR-S may be my poison. It'll probably be at least a few months before I seriously start shopping, but I like what I've seen of them so far (haven't driven one yet, but I sat in one... a little snug, but not bad assuming I have no rear seat passengers!)

yah man they really hold you in its really a drivers car. i like the price on the frs and the fact that it also weighs a little less than the brz but i love both the twins and we have a great strong helpful community that we do

Drive one, you will be sold. You can sit in one, the ergonmics of driver control is great, but if you're looking for ameneties and touring comfort, this is not the car. Take it for a drive, then you'll be sold. Coming from a AE86 and AE82 Corolla owner, it has a bit more oomph, but compared to other cars not so much. But throw it into some turns and you'll have a smile on your face.
Finally had first day of good weather, wouldn't you know it right after I picked mine up from dealer we've had rain that we haven't had for a while.

Came back into the scion fold on Saturday when I took delivery of a Hot Lava FR-S from Hamer Toyota and Scion in Mission Hills, CA

Love my Tundra CrewMax Platinum, but it definitely chews the gas...so it spends most of it's time garaged now. Had to get something with better MPG for my daily driver!

Totally looking forward to working on this car.

New Guy

Placed my order (Raven FR-S) with DVN on Saturday to be delivered the weekend after my birthday on March 23 2013. Hope thats enough time that the car is on time!

Waited many years for this car, (my brother has an 84 he toys with). I was a little reluctant to jump right away, I had expected the car not to arrive when it did, I expected NA to get the car next year at the earliest especially after the quake.

Hopefully a lot of the 1st gen issues are being resolved quickly.

Last 3 cars have been toyota's and not an issue with them, an early 90's corolla (ok a rust bucket) and then an 04 echo 2dr hb followed by my current car an 09 2dr yaris. Not a bad thing to say about toyotas and this one I hope will continue the track record.
