NUR Spec Spoiler Fitment?

Anyone know if the OLM NUR Spec style spoiler will bolt to existing trunk attachment holes.

It’s a 2017 Toyota 860 Supernova Orange with the factory black spoiler that attaches via 2 bolts on each of the trunk.

If it doesn’t attach directly, will this spoiler cover the existing factory trunk holes?

Thanks for your insight...

I will have the answer in a few weeks. I just ordered it and will install in 3 weeks.

i don't believe it will cover. the spoiler holes are a little more closer to the centerline, where the nurspec goes closer to the outside edges of the trunk if memory serves

This is the wing I'm currently looking at: https://res.cloudinary.com/jbautospo...lantih7kaysgyz

This is the existing spoiler now:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=...AAAAAdAAAAABAK

The aftermarket base looks pretty large as it contacts the trunk...

Just trying to figure out how much work it may be to cover the existing mounting holes if the new doesn't.

Thanks for your insight.

I installed this wing a few months ago. It has two nuts stuck to the base in the same position as the OEM '17 spoiler holes, which is the same as pre '17 holes. The 2017 trunk has an additional third hole for a plastic rivet that holds the fore section of the OEM spoiler, but that hole ends up unused.

The base has to be sealed well against the elements, and/or the holes themselves using something as a gasket/sealant. I used 3m strip calk, it comes in black strips of plasticine-looking putty. You can also just use the 3m double sided tape that comes with it to seal the base all around completely so the putty is not too necessary.

Further, you must clean and polish the area so the double sided tape adheres, and use as much tape as humanly possible. Only the area near the OEM holes is held by bolts, so the rest of the base must be secured as strongly as possible. This is monumentally important.

Lastly, professional installation is recommended, otherwise you will have to fit the wing yourself. The solid steel brackets that connect the three main sections are not molded correctly for plug-and-play installation, and I had to bend and cut them myself (extremely long, arduous process). All the threads where screws are installed are caked with fiberglass and you gotta sand them as well. The screws that hold the plastic covers under the wing section are uselessly short, you need to buy longer ones from home depot. I had to buy washers for the trunk screws, they should have included those as well to protect the trunk.

That's about it, it is a beautiful wing but DIYing is not recommended unless you are handy. The fiberglass pieces are the highlight as their fitment and finish are top notch. The center carbon fiber piece looks stunning compared to the original. I am selling mine which is ready to install plug-and-play but it's in K1X crystal white pearl/halo white so you're out of luck.
