Thanks, I believe I read that in one of your links.

BTW, I was thinking about MAF scaling, but I probably shouldn't do that if there is a chance that there is just something wrong in the system.

So, went to the local drag strip last night for the first time with this car. Best time I clicked off was a 14.8 @ 94. Here's logs from my 3 runs. Anyone see any spots that can be improved AFR/Tune wise?? I feel like it could be fine tuned out.

Run 1

Run 2

Run 3

Here's the timing I had to pull on 91 Shell. If I was running a bit richer I wouldn't have to pull timing, but I'm not sure how to adjust that.

Anyways IAM hasn't gone below .98 yet which is good.

Couple logs... knock still exists, but very minor.

@JB86'd

Probably gonna run a couple more tanks of 91 make sure I'm not getting significant knock, then switch to E85.

You can adjust primary open loop fuel table here, yours may be different

Doesn't this table only effect AFR when in open loop (full throttle), what about partial throttle?

in closed loop its used as base values, offsets can be applied, look under the closed loop fueling area in romraider, but it my understanding that abover table is used as base values for both ol\ cl.

in cl ecu tries to target values plus offsets using reading from 02 sensor in feed back loop and stores fuel trims it needs to do so.

in ol ecu tries to target the values using maf sensor to calculate fueling and the fuel trims learned in closed loop. 02 sensor reading not used.

This is my first datalog and i'm mainly doing this because since switching over to E85 and running a stage 2 OFT EL map, i've been hearing this raspy sound whenever i'm revving in the 3.5-4k range or so. Maybe it's normal?
This is on stock headers, first tank of E85

Anyways, here is the datalog I uploaded:
http://www.datazap.me/u/aztec/first-...p?log=0&data=1

And here is a sound of it. (phone quality )

Look up vvt rasp 4k. There's a huge thread (Althiugh old now) with more info. It's normal. It's a discouraging noise imo and was told e85 would minimize it but it didn't. Then it turns out an uel header will definitely get rid of it so here I am waiting for the ofh to be delivered haha.

That's really comforting to be honest! I thought it was running extra lean or something haha.
I should be getting my UEL header in a week, so i'm in the same boat
Thanks

would someone mind having a look at my log?

thoughts / advice welcome as always.

Since you have no knock and trims look very good (can always manually edit the 2.0-2.2mafv/1-1.2load zone where you're dipping a bit in the LTFTs), I'd suggest you move over to maximizing timing and onset where you can, pick up as much power as possible while still giving ya enough buffer against knock

You have not done a run over the rpm range log is just 2000-3000 rpm.

also are they the parameters your using for maf scaling ?? as your logging "injection mode" which is port/direct injection, you need to log fuel system status for open/closed loop.

normally i get a good log - normal cruise driving, then manually filter out my data from the log. once i have my filtered closed loop data, i fill "injection mode" collumn with "2".

I'll switch my paramater to include "fuel system status", and remove "injection mode", and report back with a better log based on the feedback you gave

once nailed down CL, I'll start on OL, then move on to timing...

Again, thanks Steve99, and KOA!
