Shipping, most likely. I certainly didn't damage it, noticed it during install.

I am guessing they are gonna start selling smaller pulleys since you can't find them new anymore. But I am not sure what else they can do... As the blower is pretty well maxed with the old 69mm pulley.

Are you on a built bottom end with the 69mm? I have a Raceseng 72.5mm and will be running on straight E85.. I want to make some power, but safety/reliability is number one.

I'm confident @Xero-Limit that will be tuning it will do a fine, fine job anyway

No I have the 70mm and 72.5mm. most ppl say the 72.5 is going to best option as keep power band as close to stock. Yes Mike will be doing my tuning just debating which pulley to use as I bought this kit used from a member here and he has both plus the stock.

Agreed, 72.5 is my favorite. Keeps the max power up high but still starts to pick up around 3k.
Didn't have nearly as much fun with the 69 because the power band seems to promptly plateau at 5k.

With E85 you should be able to use the 70mm pulling no problem. If pump you may find the 72.5mm to be a better fit

I think I will go with the 72.5 as there will be times where I will want to run 91. There is what 10-20whp difference between pulley? But I will talk with Mike and kinda see what he thinks.

Good idea follow his suggestion. He tuned mine with 72.5mm + wmi.

Hey everyone, wanted to see if anyone here had torn down one of the SC units, or better yet, had replaced the bearing seals inside. My unit is leaking a decent amount of oil into the manifold, fouling up my spark plugs and causing a misfire. Took it upon myself to tear it down, and have paused at one of the big impeller bolts because it didn't come out with an impact driver. https://imgur.com/a/4g7SiWk is the image. Wondering if its reverse threaded? Not sure why it would be tighter than the other. Next attempt is going to be big breaker bar with a pin wrench for those two holes.

Any help is welcome!

Jon Bond Performance can service these units stateside. These types of leaks we haven't seen much of, but I'd give them a call and take care of it before there's any major issue.

Appreciate that, but JBP rebuilt mine when I purchased it used two years ago. The catch can and sight glass they installed leaked, and the copper tubing it was fixed to actually sheared off when I touched it, so I'm not terribly impressed with their work. He also wouldn't answer my questions about these issues. I understand they're busy, but I'm not motivated to go back to them.

Not that I won't send to them before I dumpster the whole thing, but it seems worthwhile to attempt myself before I resort to it.
