The Carrera GT owner probably went to the dealership to buy a couple FR-S's for DD, LOL!

Well, not much has happened to me. However, I was sitting in Five Guys eating dinner with my son. My car was parked by itself, with no other cars on either side nor in front. There was a car parked diagonally, and when the guy and his family left he kept staring at my car. When he drove off he pulled right up next to it and looked at it for a good minute. A few minutes later another car drove by it, stopped, backed up and the guy in the passenger seat kept staring at it. A little while later, a car full of guys parked next to it, looked at it for a minute, then came in talking about it. As we were driving home, a Honda Civic pulled up next to us and a guy in the passenger seat took a few pics a waved. Pretty cool.

Is it just me or do y'all find yourself staring at your FR-S everytime you go out to get in it thinking just how damn sexy it is? I've never wanted to make love to a car before, but this one really gets me going!

Also, a buddy lent me his Cayman on a separate occasion, in trade for my FRS for 30 mins.

Please take note Toyota folks!!

The FRS/BRZ appeals not just to the 99%!!! It does sweep the heart of a the upper billionaire 1% just the same, or more!!!
Wow!!

I knew a guy around here who owned a Carrera GT. That's incredible that somebody with that kind of car would be so interested in the FR-S. He must really be a car guy.

So how was the Cayman? How does it compare to the FR-S?

Most people dont even look twice, but thats the same as any car, most people just dont care about cars
Nobody seems to notice my car, but I live in a small agricultural based town where everyone drives huge diesel 4X4's.

Subaru owners

Yesterday after picking up my mom from LAX, I have noticed the same experience with people who drive Subaru impreza wrx's that when they see my FRS, they move lanes to get a good at the car ,and usually nod their head or give a thumbs up with my experience so far.

Had it for 24 Hours

I've had people compliment my car here in Riverside, CA. A big enthusiast was photographing my car as I walked out of a store. It's a head turner so far for me...

I don't own one yet but finally saw one in person, still with dealership tags. I would totally stop by and stare or go after it but it was going opposite way and there was no easy way to uturn in a timely manner

Only guy I know who drives a Carrera GT in the Orange County area is the CEO of Kingston Tech.

Gorgeous car, was parked at the Albertson's near my house a few months ago.

I've only put 15 miles on mine on a one-way trip home, but had 3 different completely freak out about it:

- One dude was riding a bike when I was at a stop light and spun around so quickly he almost fell down then shouted "Holy Crap!" He was clearly a fan and up on the car and we chatted for a bit, and he said I made the right decision with the Scion over the Subaru
- We parked to get some food and two dudes in brand new A8 drove by, parked, walked over to car and checked it out/took pics for 2 minutes then headed away.
- When we were getting into the car after dinner a guy walking by shouts "that is a HOT car" then we chatted for a few minutes. He was completely blown away and kept trying to convey how awesome this car is to his girlfriend.

It has been awhile since I have posted this, since then there have been many more FR-S vehicles sold. So what kind of reaction have you experienced?

Random neighbor dude took pictures. Random gangster ghetto girls/guys were like "sweet ride". Random s2k attempted to race me on the street. Random guy in an infiniti g37 coupe was like staring, random kids at the store were looking at my car when i was inside the store, random dude yelled nice car at the store. Thats it for now. Very random indeed.

I had one guy whip out his phone to video me driving by.
I had one guy in an Audi S4 grab his friend and mouth holy shit.
I had the owner of a sushi restaurant I frequent go ape shit over the car.
I had a Porche Turbo burn out next to me at a green light when his girl was gauking.

Many more head turns. The usual.
Attention aside, I have never enjoyed driving a car more in my life. Its hard to decribe. I have owned a Jaguar, a G35, a 370z; and I have never loved them like I love this car.

Some of you may understand this, but the only time I have felt like this was when I was 17 and I got in the RX7 for the first time. It was a feeling of "my god this car is different" I am not talking about speed, I am talking about the feel of the car. Pure cerebral fuckin bliss.
