Power outlet not working

The one by the cup holder. Checked the fuse... it is not blown...

Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

Not all accessory plugs fit all outlets. Sometimes the shape of the plug just doesn't allow for a good contact. Honda had a tsb and redesigned some power outlets for that reason. Check for power with a different accessory and see if there really is power there. Otherwise, take advantage of that 3 year/36k warranty.

Does this one need to have the key 'on' to work? Some don't but most do today. Don't use them myself so I don't know and didn't bother to check the manual. And have you spliced into the wiring for something aftermarket? Just thinking out loud...

Anyway, if all is correct, use the warranty...

Test it with a test light just to make sure. Careful not to short it out. Also check the one in the glove box and see if that one is working. Don't just visually inspect the fuse, pull it and check for continuity.

I have this same issue .. never got around to checking the fuse yet due to the cold weather. But the glove box usb port is still working fine.

I noticed when I had my charger plugged in to the center console cigarette lighter one day and I started the car, my phone got a quick charge and then the cigarette lighter cut out and no power was given after that ...

There is 2 fuses, one for each of the power outlets, did you check them both? Should be labeled P/POINT NO.1 and P/POINT NO.2 both 15A fuse. They are in the interior fuse box.

They claim it was a fuse. Dunno for sure... I checked the fuse box before going to the dealer... but maybe it was a case of a bad fuse that "looked ok" and once replaced... solved the problem.

Sorry... I don't recall...
I suspect it is the one designated for the AUX outlets... consult Owner's Manual for the appropriate # slot.
