you're fully aware that you initiated the argument with the guy, right? i didn't wanna get involved but now it's just annoying me. he's only bothering you cuz you misread his post and rudely responded to it. go back and slowly reread what started this whole thing. he posted the same link you did (a dumb move, yes), but then after you pointed that out, he was embarrassed but thankful that what he said wasn't rude because if it was, he woulda looked like a bigger dumbass. it's maybe not the best worded, but he never said you were talking shit, he was talking about himself. and now he's trolling you because you went off on him after misunderstanding his response. the whole thing's dumb.

that being said, that's a fucking ridiculous ticket for not having a front plate. you shoulda gotten away with a warning really if your record was clean. i agree with @TommyFive though. the plate looks best centered so i just went ahead and let them drill mine.

I sensed passive aggressiveness in that post. Then I asked him if he was sensitive (which it appears that he is). Now he's following me around liking things that shouldn't be liked.

If you look at his profile, he really has it out for me. There's no reason for him to be on this thread.

I was over it, until he liked the post on this thread. I even let him have the last word on that other thread.

Yeah i would love to roll around with no front plate but i don't want any reason for cops to pull me over. I got one with my previous subie and since then have always had a plate on there.

Better to have no plate then those off center ones, they cause to much focus in one area, doesn't look good.

Looks JDM as fuck though!

NY has some of the most strict motoring laws and ticketing in the whole country, maybe the world?

Nah, think Cali has it the worst. Hear a lot of horror stories about how hard it is driving around a modified car over there.

Cali is the worst, but NY tends to copy all of their dumb ideas.

Doesn't seem too strict IMO. I have had officer give me tickets with lower speed than I was going so it wouldn't be 30+ ticket. Also had officer let me go for what would have been a serious traffic violation. Not to mention if you only get a ticket every few years when your record is clean it almost always will get dropped to a non moving violation if you go to court. Maybe I'm lucky though I dunno.

It's not luck unless me and my friend are just as lucky. Almost every ticket me and him have gotten over the years has been written for a lesser offense. Maybe we only get pulled over by the nice ones. He's also fought a few in court and they are always reduced and often end up with no points added to his license.

I won't bother taking the chance with no front plate, I just got a plate design that I liked and that goes with the color of the car better than that ugly gold.

yea the gold really only looks good on black cars. i've kept my original plates since my first car, a 97 altima haha. they're beat up to shit from parking in the city, but they look so much nicer than the new ones.

these ones:

What's up man..

One I was just driving along and a state trooper came up behind me.

No other reason.

The other I was speeding and he nailed for that too.

Bastards..

i guess i dont understand why someone would even risk a ticket by not having their front plate on... whats the point in doing something and knowing you might give you headache
& frustration later? sounds like they're asking to waste time & $$
