I want a front splitter buuuut I probably damage the front splitter and endplate by accidently pulling too close to the curb on the first week...😂

My velox front wheel wind deflectors took a beating and snapped off so many times after I dropped my car an inch. I don't even know how the top corner at the outer edge on the drivers side got mangled so awkwardly. Need to take it off and bash the metal flat again. At least it's durable!

Splitter is fairly durable, especially with the race upgrade. The sheetmetal bottom brace takes a lot of the toll. I have accidentally hit curbs at a few MPH , nice jarring stop. Besides a few scratches on the sheet metal, it's all good haha.

Endplates are in, double checking everything and then they'll be available at FT86 SpeedFactory. Informative post coming in the next few days.

Same here. If you hit a parking block at slow roll you'll instantly stop (with race upgrade). I've even stood on the splitter.

Happy with the front end aero. I added the endplates and front wheel air deflectors Monday, to bring my splitter up to "current spec". Haven't had a lot of time driving but my initial impressions are positive. Can feel the aero balance shift forward, and front end grip is definitely increased. I also moved the plastic from the fender liner to between the CF and fender, was concerned it could pull over the BHCS/washers.

Has this setup been test fitted or installed on an RS1.0 yet?

To my knowledge, no. It could potentially go together with some longer hardware but I do not know for sure.

When I got my splitter we put it underneath my friends TRD lip as he was curious if this would work. We discovered a few things - the splitter doesnt stick nearly that far out in the front so you honestly may not even really notice it, this also causes issues with where the front rods would connect.

Thanks! that's what I figured, it IS possible though. good. One would have to tweak the mounting forward a few inches or if they could make one a few inches larger in the front to accommodate the rods.
How was the side to side width?

Wasn't super amazing either. I can't remember how much farther down the trd lip makes the bumper but I would have some concerns about it all being super low + splitter not sitting flush to bottom of the bumper (might be fine if you had longer bolts + spacers when needed). Maybe velox can cut you a splitter that sticks out a little farther

Roger. I did a quick look under there and the its about a inch or so from the bottom of the lip to the bottom of the bumper cover. I will have to get in touch with velox and see what they have to say.

thanks much!

Are there any plans to produce one for the RS1.0 front end?
