2.5" to 3" gaskets?

Hey everyone, wondering if anyone has any leads on a donut gasket and/or suitable gaskets to make my BERK HFC front pipe to my Greddy Revolution RS cat back which is 3". I tried using the supplied gasket but had a leak, my only option was to jam the stock donut gasket in there but the flanges of course don't mate up now and it's causing some fitment issues. It was a quick fix but I'd like to get it done correctly.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I saw a few posts describing a manufacturer who produces some thicker gaskets that crush and conform to fill voids but I can't recall the name of said company.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sadly looks like that won't work.

Need to go 2.5" > 3". This is for the other way around and it's not reversible.

This is my main complaint on the Greddy revolution rs catback. The 3in flange does not mate up well with the stock donut gasket or in my experience with any other gasket. To make it worse Greddy refuses to acknowledge my requests for what the proper installation method is. Their other catbacks all claim to reuse the factory donut but the RS says nothing about it.

This weekend I am attempting to install a 2.5in to 3in adapter to hopefully get rid of my exhaust leaks once and for all.

Something along the lines of this...

Sorry didn't see the second link.

That MIGHT work.

Waiting for other replies to see what everyone else has done.

They also don't tell you that the muffler will sit practically horizontal in the cutout looking completely stupid and melting your bumper to pieces.... ask me how I know.

Link is a similar product to above post. The Grimm speed one is not reversible. I imagine this would be the same or similar concept though.

hmmm this is the first time I've heard of these being one way only. I'm confused as to why it would only work the one way. It's a rather simple piece so I don't see what harm could be done.

Not sure either, just going based off of the disclaimer on the page. Want to get other opinions before I become the guinea pig to test it out either way.

I had the same issue with melting my bumper until I played with my exhaust hangers some more and was able to luckily get it to clear on all sides and look much better.

My thoughts on the adapter is it couldn't be any worse than the 3.0in gasket covered with tons of RTV copper that I'm currently using So far it's proven to be the closest I can get to a leak free setup.

the grimmspeed 3" gasket is like 7 layers of metal. I had that on my stock frontpipe to a tomei 3" catback. Torqued the hell out of it to compress the gasket.

May be something I'll have to consider.

And it worked!?

Any reservations as far as stacking two gaskets in a worst case scenario?

I don't think you need 2 gaskets, I would do what @Detroiter suggested and rtv it with a good amount of torque. And yes it worked.
