Help selecting Coilovers, for my needs :)

Hello, I am getting new set of wheels and it was reported to rub on the stock's suspension strut. The wheels are Enkei RS05RR, it will also be a chance to upgrade my suspensions.


I will get Enkei RS05RR 18x9.5 +43 or 18x9.0 +40

What am I looking for?
I am looking for coilovers that are street driving comfortable, without compromising performance.


Any future upgrade?
Near the summer I will be getting a turbo and adding a strut bar.


Priorities?
Conform and noise are priority. Performance is very important. If they perform as good as stock or better. Than I am happy.
I don't want any noise, or just like the stock.


Damping and Endlinks?
I want good comfortable damping and endlinks won't be a need as I won't camber. Unless the kit comes for sway bar adjustments... that can be good.


ABS?
I don't know how this is related, but I am keeping ABS.


You drive in the Winter?
Yes, minimal driving.. I will use OEM Wheels with winter tires.


Budget?
1500$ around figure with install

Tires?

You're gonna want camber if you care about performance, but your comments make zero sense to me since it seems like you're addressing swaybar endlinks (which has nothing to do with camber...)

At that price installed, Bilstein. You could also go RCE yellows. Unsure if this helps any rubbing issues...

Don't take my word for it, as I don't own them, but I'm in the market (possibly, for greater options with wheels and tires) for something achieving the same goals you've noted.

My research seems to point towards the RCE Tarmac 0's. Check 'em out.

Camber is not a benefit to performance... I don't want camber. I didn't talk about camber at all....


I was asking about the endlinks in which the antiroll bar and the suspension are linked together (front)

Endlinks make sense, you just mentioned camber as if it were related (or so I read it.) Anyway, unless you're not turning, camber (negative, in this case) is in fact a benefit to performance. For street use, up to -2 up front, -1.5ish in back, I think. I see over -3 up front, -2 in back on cars that see a lot of track time.

T0 and RS-R will run closer to $2k+ installed, but are definitely worth looking into.

I would recommend Bilstein B14 coilovers if you must stick to that budget. Not 100% sure if they'll clear your wheels as that's not my thing, but that's what I'd recommend. Alternatively, KW V1.

If your budget was slightly higher, then RCE T0 as I think they'll have the best performance of all 3. But all 3 are good, simple coilovers that perform and ride well on the street. They are also all very corrosion resistant and work with stock top mounts.

I wouldn't recommend any of the coilovers on your list if you drive on crappy salted roads in the winter.

You seem to be thinking oppositely for some reason. Bilstein, KW V1, and RCE T0 (manufactured by KW) are of much higher quality than the five you were recommended. Especially with you being in Montreal, Bilstein or KW/RCE will be much more winter friendly.

Why don't you like those dampers?

If you wanting an improvement in performance you are paying for the valving. Damper bodies can be made from anything ( compromise as usual) but this has NO relation to the valving. Who ever suggested Megan Racing was obviously pulling your leg. Andy is trying to recommend some quality items close to your budget. At your price point you would be better off with fixed valved dampers as opposed to 52 click adjustable crap.
