What options can be dealer fitted to the GT?

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows which of the upgrades on the GTS can be fitted to the GT?

I'm hoping things like LED running lights and the Keyless start can be optioned by the dealer?

Altho I'm kind of doubtful on the keyless start.. lol

Cheers
Robert

this is taken from media launch booklet

"The 86 GT comes with halogen headlamps as standard while high-grade 86 GTS has high intensity discharge headlamps and LED (light emitting diode) daytime running lights (DRLs).
The 86 GTS also has a headlamp washer and foglamps in the lower section of the front bumper.
On GT grade, DRLs are fitted in the same position as the foglamps on GTS."

From that i gather that both models will have DRL's (what your calling LED running lights) the difference being that the GTS has them integrated where as GT has them inplace of fogs

DRL doesn't have to be LEDs. the GT has DRL but non LED.

Is the rear spoiler standard on the GTS? I didn't think it was. I know in the UK it is

No, the spoiler is not standard on the GTS. The only spoiler currently available....sigh....is the ugly massive coat hanger type one /vomit and only as part of the aero kit on the GTS as a factory fitted option which we still don't have pricing for but we've been told we will have pricing for the aero kit before the 18th of June.

Interesting. I thought the GT didn't have any DRL's at all. Anyone got a picture of the GT with the DRL's on?

check out the reviews on the net. basically it looks the same as the fog lights on the GTS but it's purpose is DRL.

Correct, by the way the DRL's on either car cannot be turned off.

2 questions guys.. for the DRLs i saw some sort of flickering mode in a few videos with the LED ones. Curious into how you do that or if its just possibly the camera??..

and second, could someone maybe guess the price of the spoiler? thanks

Oh right. So just basically a fog light that's on during the daytime. I thought it was in the headlight. How gay.

There's a couple threads on this forum of the FR-S guys that did a DRL Delete.

after paying for the extra, i don't want my LED DRLs off lol

flickering would likely require some aftermarket modules.
