Passenger side seat not staying forward.
So I just got back from a road trip with the fiance and as we were unloading the back seats she noticed that when she pulled up on the passenger side seat lock that is in between your legs if you are sitting to slide it forward it does not lock into place. It seems to stay locked when it is in a rear position but anything further up and it just slides right back. The drivers side locks into place when in the forward position but the passenger does not. Can someone check if this is the same in their car before I bring it in?
Thanks!

I think I figured it out. If you pull the seat back all the way forward then it allows the seat to slide up. This would allow a rear passenger to allow them selves to get out with out assistance. If the seat back is not all the pushed forward the lower latches still engage.

The handle below the seat should let you lock it in any position, the handle on the side by the door allows the back support to move forward and then the bottom seat to slide all the way forward to allow passengers in the back easier access.
You have me confused as you said the thing between your legs which I'm assuming is the handle below the seat - that should not work that way. |

With the seat back forward the seat slider unlocks
