tranny fluid change

hi guys. ive seen alot of people claim that some fluid called "pentoil" or something really helps improve the shifting from 1st to 2nd. the only problem i have is- how do i change the fluid? i dont wanna bring it to a shop where they charge me an arm and a leg. thanks guys

Do it your self. There is a tutorial on here with pics. Took me all of 1\2 hr to do it. Most of your time is spent getting the car on Jack stands.

I believe the Tranny fluid you want is Pentosin 75w80. check the DIY section

The only real pain in the ass about changing the trans fluid is the brush guard removal and getting the new fluid in without making a mess. The fill plug is high enough that there's no way you can just pour oil into a funnel so you need to use a hand pump to pump the oil in. The one I had sucked and ended up taking forever and made a mess. Get yourself a good one and it likely won't be so bad.
