it was nice to meet a bunch of folks with similar interests. Great group of guys with a couple of young ladies to tone down the testosterone a bit. Racing at K1 karts was a blast. For those of you who are not members of 86Atl but live in the area, the group is very diverse (age, race, and gender) and everyone i met Seemed to be respectful and respectable. I understand not having a facebook account, I dont want to see pictures of what you cooked for dinner, i could care less what your cat just did, and I'm not going to like your stupid quote or forward it to all my friends. That said, facebook (86ATL) is a great way to meet folks with similar interests who live within a short distance from your location. Not all the cars are modified but if you're interested in modifying your car, the meets and facebook page are great way to get ideas and gain knowledge regarding the various vendors. If you're not interested in modifying your car, it doesn't matter, it's all about the car and comradery.

Fb is different for me, since I've used it for almost 12 years, now. Helps me keep in touch with friends and family, around the world, especially since I'm a newer transplant to GA.
I do agree, it allows for you to talk to other 86 enthusiasts. So does the forum, though people seem to prefer fb, given more activity there. But the same goes for another club, which, I'm part of; more fb and not much forum activity.

I had some trouble there about 2 weeks ago too... brought my car in for something minor. Also noticed my bumper was a little loose and had them check it out too. Was told they were going to "reattach the bumper".

Got it back an hour later with a bunch of scratches along BOTH front quarter panels (I know they weren't there before - personally washed my car the day before). The dealership offered me a free repair but their paint guy did kind of a shoddy job with 'dabs' of touch up pain; I could have, arguably, done a better job.

Shame, cause I like Subaru Kennesaw over the other dealerships; the sales, finance and service staff are very professional. The techs.... well... who knows.

You can definitely get your free years of service from a different dealer than where you purchased. I bought from Gwinnett but have all my service done at Troncalli in Cumming (and I would highly recommend them, btw).

I'd go there but I'm in freaking Kennesaw. by the time I get back home I'll have to change the oil again.

Just a heads up, but we meet up for Caffeine and Octane at the LA Fitness in Sandy Springs at 6AM and then drive over to Perimeter Mall together. It's always a great time and there are literally hundreds of cars there, many things you'd never see regularly.

I know a couple people don't have facebook here, so trying to keep you all updated. Hope to see yall there!
