Yeah, that step took 3 weeks for mine. Got the "on a truck and almost arrived!" message on Jan 25th. Truck actually showed up at the dealer on 2/11. The car wouldn't have done anything other than sit for that period of time since the rail yard that serves my city wouldn't have been more than 3 hour's drive away (DFW or San Antonio).

I am picking my car up tomorrow. The only notification I got from Subaru Corporate was the VON email. Nothing else.

gross. website says ETA is last week of february, but I just got the "on a train" update on 2/16, so now I have to wait for the train to get to dallas, and then for the truck to go to Houston. if your timeline is correct, I probably wont have it until April.

I'd think Houston would have its own automotive rail yard but I really have no idea. Austin doesn't but both SA and DFW do.

I'm in the same boat. Placed my order on Nov 4th, "coming to life" on Jan 11th, and "getting closer" on Feb 9th with an expected delivery as the 28th. I'm not holding my breath that it'll be here, but I'm being optimistic that it wont be delayed again.

I've been "getting closer" on a train since Feb 10. Dealer still shows Feb 24 as the expected delivery. Port in Vancouver, WA to dealer in Northwest Indiana.

I'm definitely getting antsy and frequently checking the weather so I'll know if I can actually drive the thing home (dealer is about 65 miles away).

Going to give my current car a proper detail tomorrow (temps in the upper 40s!) to get it ready for trade-in.

Got it this AM. I also got the dealership to throw in a case of oil filters. 25 to a case BTW. I'm good for 12.5 years now. Also 100% all NEW BRZ orders for 2022 are over. Love it BUT

1) If you drive on rough concrete interstates you will hate life. The 18 PSs are LOUD AF. New smooth blacktop no problem.

2) I'm 6'1" 265 and I can not have a baseball cap on in the car. I have 1 finger width from the top of my head to the headliner. I have to think about getting in and out of the car also.

10/10 Would buy again. Its a go cart with a roof.

dealer said it will be switched to truck in dallas. Sucks for me since i live in DFW, but having to drive to houston to get my BRZ (found a dealer where a guy cancelled his order) cause I didnt want to wait until july from my local dealer.

I told them to leave it in the shipyard up here in dallas but that sadly wasnt an option.

Sapphire blue gang! From this thread it looks like other colors ordered around my time are getting pushed up. Looks like I picked the wrong color.

Did you lower the seat all the way? I'm 6'1 and fit with PLENTY of room for a helmet. Congrats!

Depends if you’re 6’ 1” more in legs or torso. Also wonder if there are differences between premium and limited seats.
