Car won't start, won't crank, no ecu communication
Back story:
I was at the track and popped an oil cooler line which resulted in a fire. The fire was small and put out immediately but they spayed the crap out of the engine bay. Now the car won't start, won't crank, and tried two scanners that couldn't communicate with the ecu. I've gone through the fuses and they look good. I'm kind of assuming the lack of ecu communication is preventing the car from starting? Any ideas?

going to be very difficult to diagnose. their are three or so fuse box locations have you checked them all does dash light up and key symbol go green on dash if they key symbol is red or yellow the key is nor being read by the imobiliser or the imobiliser module cannot talk to dash and ecu. clutch or park switch fail will also stop car starting i think your going to need an auto electrician or specilist subaru person |

Maybe your wiring harness got burned, alot of twins my friend buys don't start because of a small cut of the fuse box wires. Only 4-5 wires are cut but it doesn't start, maybe theres an exposed wire shorting the fuse?

This is likely. I need to dig deeper but at first glance it looks like it's the engine harness, efi computer, or associated sensors.

Got it going! Both cam sensors and wires were torched. I pulled them apart, taped them up and the car starts, no check engine lights even. Looks like a new engine harness(and a lot of clean up) will get it back to 100%
Thanks for the suggestions.
