My waiting journey is over. Took delivery of my GR86 yesterday. Total wait time was 12 months from "order" to delivery.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting --- they're out there and they're slowly coming...

Looks phenomenal... I keep thinking about a BRZ, or an 86 in another color, but seeing yours makes me want to keep waiting.

Congrats! Hoping my wait isn't too much longer, but I only ordered mine in late July, so I guess time will tell.

Things have improved in that some cars are now finally arriving, my BRZ finally is at the dealer after basically 1 year and a quarter wait.

Anyone waiting on a Trueno Blue GR86 from Thornhill Toyota, Markville or DVNT?

One on Weins lot right now with all the wrap on.

I've got a trueno on order a bit north of there. I doubt it's mine though... At least I'll try to tell myself that so I don't set myself up for disappointment lol

Aha I actually have a Trueno on order as well nearby and got a bit excited myself. But my dealer isn’t part of that group so SOL for me.

I found out it’s going to Thornhill through a friend but when I called to ask they claimed no knowledge of it

Getting tired of waiting. only going on 6 months but I passed on a pair of BRZ in January. Starting to regret that. The manufacturers are building more and more junk I would never touch. The cars I like are all getting discontinued. Here in Western Canada, I am not seeing any stock come in. At this point, I can't see getting a car before Christmas. If they cancel producing 2024 I don't expect to get one at all.
The changes to Tacoma's for 2024 mean I would never buy a new one. No manual. Not interested

Figured I'd let you guys know that North Bay Toyota have a Premium AT in Raven coming in this or next week. I want a manual, so if anyone's interested and willing to drive up north, give them a call.
Also, Maple Toyota has a demo Anniversary AT for sale, 1600km range, they are selling it as a used car instead of a demo, so price is not pretty

Seems to be the game a lot of dealers are playing.

Given how evasive the dealer that my agent ordered from (392 days ago) is being, I'm starting to wonder if "my" car has already come and gone as a "used" car.

fwiw I know this is the 86 side of the forums, but a lot of Subaru dealers have BRZs incoming in May/June if you guys who have been waiting are open to switching.

I am waiting for a GR86 but still no VIN so said fuck it and swapped to a BRZ since they all have vins and guaranteed by June. I can give some dealers that I know have stock if anyone is interested.
