White smoke in Engine bay

So my BRZ has 407 miles and it was stored away during winter. So today I took it out for a drive and after the drive I notice white smoke in the engine bay. Is this normal?

Use a paper towel and check your passenger side rear cam plate seal for oil.

So I checked the Cam plate seal and there's a little bit of oil residue when I wiped the paper towel. Is this normal?

.
It is normal, but it shouldn't happen. This is a problem from factory, and I wouldn't worry about it because there isn't much oil leaking from there. You can fix it though, pretty simply.

Drove it around again and this time no smoke, it's probably oil build up from being stored away this winter. But thank you all for your response, I appreciate it.

Exactly what happened with my car after winter storage. It was from the cam plate leaking also.

No issues here, sat all winter and just over 4000Km on the car. Ordered the Raceseng cam plate awhile back anyhow as it will be just a matter if time I'm sure.
